Where the MacBook Pro 15-inch 2019 shines at compared to Windows laptops as with earlier models is how long it lasts on standby with Apple claiming up to 30 days of standby time. When I first bought my Macbook Pro the battery lasted roughly 8 hours with Safari and a plethora of apps running. When Mojave first came out the battery estimate dropped from 10 hours to 5 hours. Its only under heavy use that the new 15-inch will actually do worse than last.
